Kennel Specifications


Solidly constructed from a Redwood frame clad in 19x100mm Tongue and Grooved. All timber is pressure treated against rot and insect attack.

Floor

The floor is constructed from 18mm exterior plywood, painted and screwed to pressure-treated joists which are fixed at maximum 400mm centres.

Roof

Best quality Canadian Cedar shingles over a vapour barrier on ply sheathing

Finish
We take great care to finish our products to the highest standards. We fill and sand all nail and screw holes prior to painting with a shellac based primer. This is followed by two coats of hand applied Tikkurila Ultra specialist paint – a finish that will not crack or blister and will maintain its performance for many years. All paint is water based and non toxic.
